Chester Holmes was working as an armed security guard at a liquor store despite being a registered sex offender who wasn't allowed to have a firearm.
A guy walks in without a sign of submission and that just sets the orc off.
Holmes proceeds to shoot the man; who staggers out of the building. He chases the guy down and shoots him two more times.
Needless to say the idea that he was acting in self-defense didn't impress the judge deciding bail.
Holmes, who defense attorney Jonathan Feldman said “has a big heart and is a kind-hearted man,” shot the man again, then paced around and shot him a third time before running away, according to Auguste. The victim, who was shot in the stomach, arm, and leg, was taken to a hospital where surgeons removed part of his intestines, Auguste said.
Whenever one of these savages gets caught doing the most horrific acts, there's always some variant of the "good boy" argument ready and waiting.
