Pass interference looked like the right call to me, even if delayed, but I don't watch niggerball any longer.

E: Defense delayed the offense, albeit only slightly with a very short spastic interruption. Offense had a chance at catching the ball. Pass interference.

If that slight contact was the call the flag would have been thrown then. The flag is thrown only to change the outcome of the game. This is a fourth down play, about a minute left.
