Referser: Irving was the historian who lost his lawsuit to the jews over denial of the Holocaust. Despite it, the man has some great history of WW2 books with origonal and unique source material he digs out of German Archives. David Irving is near on his deathbed currently and I wish him well.

Pass it along please.

The Neil Gaiman allegations are wild, but we're seeing no mention of it at all within the comic industry media. Bleeding Cool, Comicsbeat, CBR, all silent. John Scalzi made a cope post but that's it. It's called "Uncle Will Made a Noose."

There are people outside
who will give such a fright
They all used to hide
in the cover of night

But then one day
the bad became bold
and what they ought not say
they cheerfully told

Uncle Will made a noose
to put around the sick heads
to heal these sick people
from the sick things they'd said

What's worse than what's said
are the things that they do
because the things in their head
just might involve you

They talk then they stalk
both woman and child
They really should walk
'cause Uncle Will's wild

Now the creeps are all gone
and the people have hope
They all became fond
of a magical rope

A message to thee
who would act fast and loose
You'll hang from a tree
with Uncle Will's noose.

Carnage

Again I sing my cheerful song
What can I control today
I’ll sort the books, I’ll file the files
Pretend that nothing’s wrong But then my bubble bursts
My illusion of contented control disappears
And I dissolve in tears
Confusion and helpless rage But still I sort, still I file
Cheeks wet and makeup streaming
My friends wondering why I act so oddly
Strangely knowing better than I do that it’s time for me to rest
Once in awhile I do I tell myself “it’s done, I’m better, I won’t be there again”
I know I’m stable now, I haven’t wanted to die
For at least a week—or was it yesterday?
And then a nightmare comes, a lonely scream.
If I wait to face the demon in my dreams, I face it alone.
My mother’s in my bed again, I throw her off repulsed
And scream until my voice is gone and run and then
Awake with my beloved—that is you, thank God!
I feel your face for whiskers—can I be sure it’s really you
And not that sickening monster who spawned me?
But where is my cheerful song now?
When do I get to control my life again?
When can I get back to life rather than being
the prisoner of my own racking sobs
When can I run away again?

Book review - Runes Finally Explained: The Germanic Book of the Dead by Marie Cachet (wife of Varg)     (books)
submitted by NaturalSelectionistWorker to books 11 months ago (+10/-0)
1 comments last comment...
I recently finished this book on Germanic Paganism by Marie Cachet, the wife of black metal musician MyFAROG creator, and hardcore white supremacist Varg Vikernes. It was an interesting read. Most of the book is an analysis of runic poetry and symbolism from the ancient Germanic/Nordic tribes (including Anglos). As someone who's done a lot of noticing of the allegories and symbolism inserted into mass media, it was an interesting exploration of the allegories and symbolism present in our ancestors' ancient pre-christian belief systems.

One of the things that struck me about it was how different the symbolic allegories our ancestors used are from the symbolic allegories given to us today. Much of the allegorical symbolism, which appears not just in the runic poetry but also in old folk tales such as sleeping beauty, Jack and the beanstalk, tales about dwarves and gnomes, etc. revolved around pregnancy, childbirth, and the passing on of ancestral wisdom from elders to children. For example, a dwarf is a child's body with an adult's head, representing the wisdom of the elders being passed on to the next generation. The runic poems, a series of poems for each of the 24 runes of the elder futhark/ancient Germanic alphabet, are full of symbolic representations of the womb, the placenta, the process of birth, and the awakening of ancient/ancestral knowledge at the formative points of a child's life.

This provided an interesting contrast to the modern symbolism and allegories that I've noticed lately. Among the more common allegories in modern media are the chosen one (Star Wars, Dune, Matrix) and the golem (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Terminator). The golem myth comes from ancient jewish folklore about jews creating artificial men to do their bidding, and is used as an allegory for jews creating artificial socio-political movements such as feminism, neoconservatism, communism, and central banking to control the masses and animate us into doing their bidding. The chosen one myth obviously draws heavily from messianic judaism and the abrahamic faiths more generally (hence Anakin being born on a desert world, Paul Atreides finding his place as the chosen one on a desert world, the cross shaped energy that erupts from Neo at the end of the Matrix trilogy, etc.).

Where today's allegorical and symbolic subtext revolves almost entirely around jewish power, the allegorical and symbolic subtext of the folk tales of our ancestors revolved almost entirely around the cycle of reproduction, birth, and child rearing. Although there is some reproductive symbolism in the biblical tale of jesus (the tomb as the womb which gives birth to the resurrected man), it is heavily downplayed in comparison to the reproductive symbolism of our Pagan ancestors, and the modern chosen one myths based on messianic allegory also include only minimal birth/rebirth symbolism in comparison to the ancient tales.

Whether you take a purely psychological and non-spiritual view such as Jung's or the more spiritual view of the author who believed the ancient tales held the key to reincarnating/resurrecting the spirit of the ancestors, the fact that our ancestors told tales that were rooted in procreation and child rearing stands in stark contrast to today's tales about jewish control schemes. The allegorical myths that animated the subconscious minds of our ancestors were far healthier than the allegorical myths of today that reinforce the narrative of messianic judaism and jewish control schemes that can only be overthrown by a golem who is willing to die to end them. By understanding the hidden subtext of these stories, you can gain a better understanding of the psychological and spiritual impact they will have on your children and make better choices in what to expose your children to, giving them tales that will reinforce the importance of family and child rearing rather than tales about jewish saviors and jewish social control.

#Bad Literature as Predictive Model

We know that movies and television shows have been used as a revelation of the method by the wicked in order to avoid occult karma for their actions by openly confessing them in a plausibly deniable manner that the public will not believe. But six decades after it was written, this section from the dreary, Gamma-infested slog that is A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, written by an author who was posthumously awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction 11 years after his suicide, tends to strike the modern reader as ominously predictive of the current state of affairs in the increasingly degenerate nations ruled by the evil inverts of Clown World.

Dear Reader,

Nature has sometimes made a fool; but a coxcomb is always of man’s own making. —Addison

As I was wearing the soles of my desert boots down to a mere sliver of crepe rubber on the old flagstone banquettes of the French Quarter in my fevered attempt to wrest a living from an unthinking and uncaring society, I was hailed by a cherished old acquaintance (deviate). After a few minutes of conversation in which I established most easily my moral superiority over this degenerate, I found myself pondering once more the crises of our times. My mentality, uncontrollable and wanton as always, whispered to me a scheme so magnificent and daring that I shrank from the very thought of what I was hearing.

“Stop!” I cried imploringly to my god-like mind. “This is madness.” But still I listened to the counsel of my brain. It was offering me the opportunity to Save the World Through Degeneracy.

There on the worn stones of the Quarter I enlisted the aid of this wilted flower of a human in gathering his associates in foppery together behind a banner of brotherhood. Our first step will be to elect one of their number to some very high office—the presidency, if Fortuna spins us kindly. .Then they will infiltrate the military. As soldiers, they will all be so continually busy in fraternizing with one another, tailoring their uniforms to fit like sausage skins, inventing new and varied battle dress, giving cocktail parties, etc., that they will never have time for battle. The one whom we finally make Chief of Staff will want only to attend to his fashionable wardrobe, a wardrobe which, alternately, will permit him to be either Chief of Staff or debutante, as the desire strikes him. In seeing the success of their unified fellows here, perverts around the world will also band together to capture the military in their respective countries. In those reactionary countries in which the deviates seem to be having some trouble in gaining control, we will send aid to them as rebels to help them in toppling their governments.

When we have at last overthrown all existing governments, the world will enjoy not war but global orgies conducted with the utmost protocol and the most truly international spirit, for these people do transcend simple national differences. Their minds are on one goal; they are truly united; they think as one. None of the pederasts in power, of course, will be practical enough to know about such devices as bombs; these nuclear weapons would lie rotting in their vaults somewhere. From time to time the Chief of Staff, the President, and so on, dressed in sequins and feathers, will entertain the leaders, i.e., the perverts, of all the other countries at balls and parties. Quarrels of any sort could easily be straightened out in the men’s room of the redecorated United Nations. Ballets and Broadway musicals and entertainments of that sort will flourish everywhere and will probably make the common folk happier than did the grim, hostile, fascistic pronouncements of their former leaders.

Almost everyone else has had an opportunity to run the world. I cannot see why these people should not be given their chance. They have certainly been the underdog long enough. Their movement into power will be, in a sense, only a part of the global movement toward opportunity, justice, and equality for all. (For example, can you name one good, practicing transvestite in the Senate? No! These people have been without representation long enough. Their plight is a national, a global disgrace.)

Degeneracy, rather than signaling the downfall of a society, as it once did, will now signal peace for a troubled world. We must have new solutions to new problems. I shall act as a sort of mentor and guide for the movement, my not inconsiderable knowledge of world history, economics, religion, and political strategy acting as a reservoir, as it were, from which these people can draw rules of operational procedure.

Boethius himself played a somewhat similar role in degenerate Rome. As Chesterton has said of Boethius, “Thus he truly served as a guide, philosopher, and friend to many Christians; precisely because, while his own times were corrupt, his own culture was complete.”

Bought this last year and only now got around to checking it out. As its Deprogramming 101 subtitle suggests, this is merely a primer; deeper dives into its contents need to be found elsewhere through dozens of other sources (which it seems to reference fairly well).

While most of us are knowledgable of this book's subjects, it could be invaluable for JQing newcomers; it hits all the highlights of all the right topics, is an easy read with plenty of images, and redpilled quotes or trivia border every page. The chapters are typically only a few pages long, nail the bullet points, and quickly move on. Very easily digestible. I'll be buying more copies of this to give away to people.

Breaking the First Rule of "Fight Club"     (voxday.net)

#Breaking the First Rule of Fight Club

"The Club That Dare Not Speak Its Name"

This is an essay that appears in the new and wide-ranging SmartPop anthology, entitled You Do Not Talk About Fight Club: I Am Jack’s Completely Unauthorized Essay Collection. The anthology was edited by the brilliant media ecologist Read Mercer Schuchardt and features a forward by Chuck Palahniuk himself.

The Physics of Fight Club

There is a savage joy in violence. The secret of the success of Fight Club is its acceptance of that basic and uncomfortable truth, which is as well-known to every martial artist, gang member, and football hooligan as it is completely alien to the sedentary sort of middle-aged individuals favored by those who publish novels. For as men have known since long before the Colosseum’s sands were first soaked with blood, there is no adrenaline rush so great as the moment when two men put one another to the physical test.

Fight Club is a fascinating little book which not only embraced that truth, but in doing so, translated surprisingly well to the cinematic medium. This should probably not have been surprising, given that the author’s witch’s brew of male fury and raw but stylized violence is almost perfectly suited for that male audience which so enjoys the cinematic adventures of Bruce Lee, Jean-Claude van Damme, Jackie Chan, and a host of other aggressively oriented male leads. The combination of that visceral appeal with the brilliant casting of a ripped and shirtless Brad Pitt for the ladies all but assured Hollywood hit status.

When viewed from a technical perspective, Fight Club is nearly as absurd as any wuxia extravaganza featuring aerial acrobatics and mad dashes through the treetops, whereas from a psychological perspective, it is impressively accurate. To the combat-aware reader, the book raises the interesting question of how the author could have gotten the latter so right and the former so wrong.

Fight Club subscribes to the common conventional fiction that it is not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but rather the size of the fight in the dog. Although in Fight Club terms, this might be better described as the size of the proverbial canine’s violent sociopathy. As with most aphorisms, there is an element of truth to this; all things being equal, the tougher individual will usually prevail. But outside of the formalized structure of the boxing ring, all things are very seldom equal.

The most basic truth of unarmed combat is that F = M x A: Force equals Mass times Acceleration. Since Force is the measurement of what is smashing into your face and is the primary variable determining exactly what the effect of that blow will be, it is very important to understand the significance of this equation. Since Mass is a function of size, this means that a larger individual will usually pack a more powerful punch than a smaller one. Usually, but not always.

The essay continues here: https://voxday.net/2008/08/04/fight-club-anthology/

If you want to buy the original book, you literally have to buy the original book. And it costs like $200-$400 used. Wtf?

Also did you know there was a sequel both in book and movie form? And for some reason the sequel is purchasable in reprint form?
