Best I can tell this is written in Czech language which dates back to the first millenia. I doubt it's that old clearly but would think between 1500-1600 could be accurate.

Some of ya may have seen my post recently about same title as the post book from 1918. I finished it last night and will share with you what it was about.

It covered in brief the time period of the mid to late 1500s-1700s France and their work at colonizing New France or Canada.

At the time France was in it's Bourbon phase where nationalism and religion were primary focuses. The Monarchy held all major reigns of political power at that time. They were slow to move sending folks to the New World due to not realizing the wealth and resources to be extracted there. Meanwhile the English the Spanish and the Dutch were already there and working on establishing foot holds there.

Eventually the French King would start warming to the idea of discovery but was mostly focused on mineral deposits. So he began investing in well known seafarers to go do some investigations.

Mineral deposits were not found but furs from the local savages would do. For the first many years it was very rough on the French that went over. It was quite difficult to clear land covered in forests to sow crops, constant threat of the English and teepee niggers and winters with low rations and plenty of scurvy. Once you were there getting back home meant three weeks minimum with the wind in your favor. So the folks that stayed were some tough customers.

As time went by they worked out things with the feather niggers save the Iriquois who were allied with the English. They would trade trinkets (lol) and brandy with the savages for furs of beaver and other animals. Timber also became quite a profitable endeavor. Agriculture while sending some to France was largely consumed by the colonists of the time. They mainly lived in modern day Quebec and Montreal. Though they sent expeditions down into Iowa and Illinois. Some savages would go with and help provide something of protection and knowledge of the areas.

Many able bodied men were getting the call for the wild and become independent traders and venture into the wilderness with goods from France to trade for furs. This made it more difficult for the colonies agricultural and industrial growth. Farms kept something of a fuedal system where there was the main land owner and the farmers paid their dues. Land deeds were given out rather freely but the fur trade was too appealing to many.

The Jesuits became coming en masse and establish religious faith to the colonies as well as venturing out to the wilderness to attempt to convert the feather niggers. Their presence helped eas relations and helped the French establish forts and such along the rivers to dominate the fur trade. None of the other western powers commanded control of waterways like the French did.

As time went on the population kept growing and life became more or less stable for the colonists. The towns were safe, everyone had food, many festivals were had and trade was good. The French at the time were very much Catholic and all regardless of rank attended mass every Sunday.

France wanted the colonies to get away from the brandy, timber and fur trade and become more focused on agricultural exports back to France however none of those efforts resulted in much.

Education in the colonies was largely religious and many couldn't read or write so they needed notaries and the clergy to assist. That would eventually get better.

I have to say quite fascinating in all regards. Definitely shows the tenacity of Whites when they want something done in the middle of nowhere, no one is coming to help til next spring. Brutal winters and at times venture too far away and a red nigger would kill you for it.

They endured unfortunately as we all know what these modern places look like now it's a travesty of what blood, sweat and excruciating death Whites put up to make Canada and what it is today.

By the year 2000 there will on present projections be seven billion people swarming on the surface of the Earth. And only nine hundred million of them will be white. What will happen when the teeming billions of the so-called Third World—driven by unbearable hunger and despair, the inevitable consequences of insensate over-population—descend locust-like on the lush lands of the complacent white nations? Jean Raspail has the rare imagination and courage necessary to face this terrifying question head-on. Readers of whatever color and political persuasion will find in The Camp of the Saints (already a bestseller in France and America) a hypnotically readable novel of compelling power that will disturb, provoke and horrify them by turns. And so powerful is its impact that once you have read it you will need brain surgery to forget it.

A 1973 French dystopian fiction novel by author and explorer Jean Raspail. A speculative fictional account, it depicts the destruction of Western civilization through Third World mass immigration to France and the Western world. Almost 40 years after its initial publication, the novel returned to the bestseller list in 2011.

https://www.alibris.com/Spotting-Danger-Before-It-Spots-Your-Teens-Teaching-Situational-Awareness-to-Keep-Teenagers-Safe-Gary-Dean-Quesenberry/book/51090153

As adults, we like to think we have a good idea of what the world may have in store for our teenagers, but the fact of the matter is there's a vast divide between what we perceive as dangerous and what our teens are actually up against.

Teenagers face unique challenges when it comes to situational awareness.

These challenges are only exacerbated by the constant physical and biological changes teens are subjected to. As young people learn to deal with these changes, they begin to explore the limits of their individuality.

Unfortunately, this process often involves rebellious behavior and unnecessary risk-taking. The key to keeping teens safe during this time is to keep them alert and engaged with their environment.

Teenagers have to understand that real personal safety isn't about being scared of what lies around the next corner. It requires confidence that if something bad were about to happen, that they have these

Ability to identify the problem early Competence to develop a plan of action Power to control their fear Aptitude to implement that plan Spotting Danger Before It Spots Your Teens is designed around the principles of positive communication, trust, and teamwork. It’s written specifically to set parents' minds at ease and allow teens to confidently explore their independence, secure in the fact that they can spot dangerous situations before they happen and take the necessary steps to ensure their own well-being.

Read this book last year. Key takeaway is atrazine, an herbicide that has been widely adopted since the 1970s has been found in every natural water supply in quantities more than enough to disrupt the endocrine systems of frogs.

We often complain about fluoride, but this endocrine disrupter will tank testosterone and make everyone gay.

The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics: How Conservatism and Liberalism Evolved Within Humans     (www.alibris.com)

https://www.alibris.com/The-Evolutionary-Psychology-Behind-Politics-How-Conservatism-and-Liberalism-Evolved-Within-Humans-Third-Edition-Anonymous-Conservative/book/35864440

Why do people adopt different political ideologies? How can seemingly equal intellects, presented with the same facts and circumstances disagree so vehemently over how society should be structured? What psychological undercurrents guide people to adopt Conservative or Liberal political beliefs, and where did they come from?

The answer lies in a well known concept in biology, termed r/K Selection Theory. r/K Theory examines how all populations tend to adopt one of two psychologies as a means of adapting their behavior to the presence or absence of environmental resources. The two strategies, termed r and K, each correlate perfectly with the psychologies underlying Liberalism and Conservatism.

One strategy, named the r-strategy, imbues those who are programmed with it to be averse to all peer on peer competition, embrace promiscuity, embrace single parenting, and support early onset sexual activity in youth. Obviously, this mirrors the Liberal philosophy’s aversion to individual Darwinian competitions such as capitalism and self defense with firearms, as well as group competitions such as war. Likewise, Liberalism is tolerant of promiscuity, tolerant of single parenting, and more prone to support early sex education for children and the sexualization of cultural influences. Designed to exploit a plethora of resources, one will often find this r-type strategy embodied within prey species, where predation has lowered the population’s numbers, and thereby increased the resources available to it’s individuals.

The other strategy, termed the K-strategy, imbues those who pursue it with a fierce competitiveness, as well as tendencies towards abstinence until monogamy, two-parent parenting, and delaying sexual activity until later in life. Obviously, this mirrors Conservatism’s acceptance of all sorts of competitive social schemes, from free market capitalism, to war, to individuals owning and carrying private weapons for self defense. Conservatives also tend to favor abstinence until monogamy, two parent parenting with an emphasis upon “family values,” and children being shielded from any sexualized stimuli until later in life. This strategy is found most commonly in species which lack predation, and whose population’s have grown to the point individuals must compete with each other for the limited environmental resources that they are rapidly running out of.

Meticulously substantiated with the latest research in fields from neurobiology to human behavioral ecology, this work offers an unprecedented view into not just what governs our political battles, but why these battles have arisen within our species in the first place. From showing how these two strategies adapt in other more complex species in nature, to examining what genetic and neurostructural mechanisms may produce these divergences between individuals, to showing what this theory indicates our future may hold, this work is the most thorough analysis to date of just why we have two political ideologies, why they will never agree, and why we will tend to become even more partisan in the future.

Quin's Shanghai Circus by Edward Whittemore - An American merchant seaman's odyssey from a bar in the Bronx to Tokyo and Shanghai during the WW2, that explores connections between a Russian anarchist, a one eyed baron head of the Japanese Kempeitai and atrocities committed during the rape of Nanking     (www.sfsite.com)

In the process of discovering the answers to these questions, Quin also discovers the best and worst of human nature. Whittemore did not just take his CIA experience and create a novel out of it. Instead, he used that experience to create a surreal mélange of images and characters in which each element is lucid in its madness. Quin's displays recurring themes of tenderness and love, as in scenes between a former prostitute and a Japanese general. But Whittemore also never flinches from describing the worst horrors of war and of human savagery .. the tome sets in motion a series of events that was to culminate in the largest funeral procession held in Asia since the thirteenth century. Good Reads.

Quin’s Shanghai Circus is without a doubt an impressive work of story telling, although the novel is set mostly in Japan and China, Whittemore’s approach more resembles the intricacies of the most ornate Islamic scripts, in which one wonders how anyone could manage to unravel a text from the twists and coils and overlapping strokes. It’s not surprising that he shifted his setting to the Middle East after this book. According to his biographies, Whittemore spent some years working in the Far East for the CIA. Link.

San Diego Lightfoot Sue - The Sirens of Titan.

Lightfoot Sue was about a street kid who was in love with a Figueroa Street type babe and the good times they had until their stars drifted apart, it was Tom Reamy's only major work which took the world by storm when it first appeared in 1975, Titan was classic KV SF .. impossible to describe it should be on everyone's "must read" list.
