The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for many individuals and families around the world. Lives have been lost, economies have been disrupted, and the mental health of many has been severely impacted. But amidst all the chaos and confusion, one group of individuals that has been severely affected is often overlooked - our beloved pets.
According to recent studies, COVID-19 disproportionately affected the lives of bisexual and trans-identifying cats, dogs, and other animals. These animals, who rely on their owners for care and protection, were left vulnerable and exposed to the deadly virus. But what made the situation even more dire was the fact that Republican anti-science rhetoric and disinformation worsened the plight of these animals.
MAGA Republicans, in their denial of science and refusal to follow public health guidelines, not only put themselves at risk but also their pets. By ignoring the advice of experts and spreading misinformation about the virus, they led to the death and ill-health of millions of pets during the pandemic. Pets, who are innocent and defenseless, paid the price for the ignorance and selfishness of those who refused to take the necessary precautions.
The death and mistreatment of our most vulnerable population - gay and trans-identifying pets - is a tragedy that cannot be overlooked. These animals bring joy and companionship to millions of people around the world, and they deserve to be treated with respect and care. It is time for MAGA Republicans to be held accountable for their actions and the harm they have caused to our furry friends.
We must demand better from our leaders and politicians. We must hold those responsible for the suffering of our pets accountable for their actions. It is time to prioritize the well-being and safety of all animals, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. We owe it to our pets to ensure that they are protected and cared for, especially during times of crisis.
In conclusion, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerability of our pets and the importance of taking science-based measures to protect them. Republican anti-science rhetoric and misinformation have led to the death and ill-health of many pets, and those responsible must be held accountable. It is time to stand up for our furry friends and ensure that they are treated with the love and care they deserve - regardless of their sexual identity.
....and it hit me tonight after reading @HonkeyMcNiggerSpic 's post about his "lightning bugs" and something being different.
Right now I'm outside on my deck and was just realizing that the last couple days things haven't and aren't normal, something is off. There's a bull moose that's been wandering all over town here and he's pretty comfortable with no indication that it wants to hit the bush, it's just strolling around, for 2 weeks now.
I've never heard the "marsh sounds" this loud, the crickets are amplified and they can be heard in the house which never happened before.
All my bears went on alert around 20.00hrs, usually means that another bear is coming in, but in this case there was no other bear but after a few seconds of every bear looking North they fucking bolted, 7 bears gone and I'm thinking what the fuck, there must be a bad ass bear coming in, but nothing happened and I let it go.
Tonight, at 22.30hrs I get a strange bear and it's really aggressive, never seen this bear before and I almost let him have it with my 9er, I damned near went into the garage for the .44 and if I did he was dead. The 9er was 10ft away from this guy and I'm staring him down and he pulls a few fake charges with snot and grunts flying out of his mouth, but his hump hair was flat and his ears weren't flat back, I've seen it lots and then every one is in love again, but there's something different about this guy and his behavior, I'm wondering if this is the guy that the other's sensed...and Brutus hasn't been around, he's twice this bear's size but he ain't here...this bear had a look that I don't like, it's not a good looking bear, I told the wife that it looked demonic.
I rifled a hardwood club at it and got him good in the rib cage as he was trying to circle me and I said to that bear, "this is your last chance or you're going down" I don't want to kill any of these bears...but,,,there are exceptions. This was an ugly bear and acted totally out of character.
BUT THEN THIS
A pack of coyotes were sounding off in the distance and they're headed North and their yapping just faded into the distance, usually when they're yapping they're trying to stir up the dear but they seemed to be going somewhere....AND...WE'RE HAVING CELL AND INTERNET WI-FI ISSUES, EVEN THE COPS HAD PROBLEMS WHERE THEY COULDN'T CALL OUT AFTER A 911 CALL.
It just seems like a weird few days lately...OR...maybe it's a jew thing and the "disdain" for them has me thinking to the extreme.
I was walking my dog this morning on Forest Service land in Montana’s Rocky Mountains. Dog and I met a grizzly bear. Everything turned out OK.
Dog and I are walking down a dirt road when I see the bear. It was about175 feet away in the middle of the road. It was looking at us. A grizzly. It had a hump in its upper back Dog had not detected it yet and did not put up a harangue.
I don’t have pictures. I was too busy preparing to do battle. I drew the dog close. And pulled the bear spray canister out of my coat. My eye was still on the bear.
So I turn around and started WALKING (not running) away from the bear with dog in hand (we look like a bigger opponent when together.)
My torso was turned when walking away so I could watch the bear. Bear took a few steps towards us. Then bear stopped and went up on its hind legs to get a better look.
Dog and I kept walking away. After about 10 seconds, the bear went down in all 4s and bolted in the other direction…away from us.
I watched my back all the way back to the truck! 🤠
