Alexander the great, around 330 BC, burned the library or libraries of Alexandria and My understanding is that that library's first directive was to have at least one copy of every written work in existence. At a stroke, a major fraction of civilation's accumulated knowledge disappeared. He wasn't Christian.
I would bet that there are mult examples of conquering Muslims burning/destroying libraries of peoples they conquered from 620 CE onward.

respectfully disagree, Boomer (I'm one myself), I'm sure that the majority of every populace has not been exposed to the evil agenda and methods of the jews: who controls the media everywhere (and big tech, Hollywood, academia, 3 branches of govt, porn)?
It took me about 6 mos scanning forums like this one to see enough unrefuted evil that is the JQ to awaken.

I thought of billboards as method of awakening normies, investigated it: not possible. Never guess who controls all those companies (Gannett, Clear Channel, etc)?
Why, you ask. I think my story explains why few people "can see the obv grift, corruption . . ", etc.
I experienced Watergate as a middle schooler who read the newspaper. Afterwards, I unconsciously assumed that the press not only could, but would root out grift, corruption, etc. If for no other reason than to sell papers, or gain advertizing revenues from stimulating viewer/reader interest. Plus, most media people assumed to be patriotic; isn't every American?
It took repeated exposure to some of the various media lies, or refusal to report on stories that shoulda been front page news, for me to awaken. And to see those stories, I had to actively seek them out on mostly unknown web sites.
Soon, I noticed a pattern of reading some unbelievable story, always a right-leaning victory or revelation, then total media silence, not even bothering to object to said story. Never any right-leaning source sued for defamation, etc, b/c that might get the claim or story more attn by more people.
Was very difficult for me to realize that our media and govt could possibly be so traitorous.
