Every spring, when I open the shade umbrellas, I find several jumping spiders. This morning, I found one chowing down on what appears to be one of his bros. Maybe this is a female eating a male after breeding situation, idk. I aint no spiduh x-pert. Sheeeiiit.

On voat.co, we had derram. Derram was our loyal friend, always there to provide mirrors for image and video posts, and to archive links. I miss derram. Derram was a good bot.

@Fascinus does a good job of providing mirrors, but because he is not an automated bot (as far as I can tell...), he can only do so much. What I think would be ideal here would be a bot, or maybe something built into the site itself, that can fill this role for every applicable post.

I haven't a clue how to do this sort of thing, so I am posting this suggestion today in the hopes that someone more qualified than myself can be inspired, take the lead, and figure out how to automate mirroring and archiving media and links.

@system, you've made a great site here, thank you for all your efforts. Is this something you've considered or maybe attempted? What do you think about all this?

I'm not exagerating. One chemistry video, where a guy extracts water from epsom salt. I didn't even watch the whole thing, mostly skipped around until I got the point. And now, youtube's gay af algorithm thinks the only thing I'm interested in is chemistry videos. What a truly terrible algorithm. And to think, this algorithm is in many ways the backbone of youtube's ux design. Pathetic. Must have been coded by either a dyke or a poo, or maybe a poo dyke. Who knows.

This was after I "not interested"ed and "don't recommend channel"ed a bunch of bullshit from their previous assumption of my interests. Funny enough, after doing that, youtube couldn't even find enough videos to fill up my interface with thumbnails. Blank spaces on almost every row.

Pathetic.

I watched/listened to the whole thing, start to finish, while cleaning a newly acquired vintage Seiko (maybe I'll make a post about this watch later). Yet, despite having actually watched the whole video, I get ZERO recommendations related to the invasion along the southern border. NOT ONE.

Every time I see this shit in my "feed" (*cringe*), I either say "not interested" or "don't recommend channel", but they apparently don't care. They just keep recommending this garbage. They're relentless.

Same with Synthwave mixes. Really any shitty hipster gaymer music with the word "wave" in it.. chillwave, darkwave, whatever.

Then there's the "fake doctors explaining why I probably have symptomless cancer" videos. Wtf? I've never watched this stuff.

And then, of course, there's their constant, unrelenting nigger video recommendations. They see I like cars and guns, so they just fill my screen up with niggers making videos in these categories. Never mind that I *always* block their channels and/or say I'm not interested. If their "algorithm" is so fucking smart and advanced, why tf can't it figure out that I don't want to see nigger videos?

The synthwave suggestions are the most perplexing. How would this style of music fit into their agenda? Is it because it's soulless nostalgia bait? Is synthwave the goyslop of electronic music?

It's funny, the simple little things you forget about as you grow up, that unexpectedly hit you, like a ton of bricks, when they reenter your life after becoming a parent. The memories and feelings that can be unlocked by something as mundane as a song from a Disney movie really are something.
