When the game was originally teased I had some high hopes for it, but since I'm not a preorder fag I wanted to wait. When it did come out it seemed lack luster to me, and the reviews were all over the place from critics and users both.
Now, I've played Control by this same studio. One would think that an action game where you get powers from SCPs would be great, however it turns out to be fairly boring. This adds to my skepticism.
I've had some thoughts about it, but it seems to be a plausible explaination. I suspect most of the fags have been placed on some sort of amphedamine medication for adhd because tbeir parents were too lazy to spank them. Over time the constant use of the drug awakened the schizophenia side effects and they were pushed through it so slowly they don't even know it.
