To each his own, but I will never buy a new vehicle, even if I had a brazillion dollars. There are a lot of reasons. Tracking. Data mining. Remote kill switch. Digitally signed parts only the dealer can activate. The list goes on. I also wouldn't buy a used vehicle from the last 20 years for varying degrees of the above.
Fuck trying to keep up with the times because the times suck donkey balls, old vehicles that are well-maintained are more impressive than the new debt-holes with overly bright stab-you-in-the-eye LED headlights and infotainment systems that can be hacked from a basement thousands of miles away and kill you.
