you take in information about someone and use deepfakes + voice cloning to make a clone of them. lots of people are doing similiar things but im working a slightly different angle. at least i'd like to be if i can get all the infrastructure done.

i mean i have the whole take in information about someone (plus photo and audio sample) -> user asks clone a question -> my app calls openai (will use llama of grok in the future) to get response basd on users information -> generates a deepfake which is served to user.

that's all done. i've been drowning in the iac side for several months now. it runs on a kubernetes, built with terraform, hosted on vultr, scalable from 0 to infinity. well, right now it's most of that but im still finishing it. it all runs in a dev container, the iac for it is actually the coolest "program" i've written in a long time

help with ux, react, c#, python would be welcome too

lots of different factions in the anti-ai camp. some idealogy driven some narrative driven.

idealogy driven:
- the religious
- people who read bostrom's drivel and think they have secret knowledge and need to save us
- people to whom ai is a threat (average software developers entrenched in a corporate system rewarding them far beyond their actual level of talent)

narrative driven:
- terminator movie effect
- people whose particular thought leaders had a negative opinion about ai and so now they do


...now EVERYONE has an opinion about AI. it's political! but the factions aren't entirely clear to me yet.

I use it constantly (software developer). My advice is to start using it ASAP. At least in terms of coding I am doing things I never could have before. Though there are trade offs, it's definitely worth it. No going back for me.

For real - this guy shot a health insurance executive. healthcare is made expensive by complicated insurance policies and regulatory capture brought on by the likes of insurance companies.
