Went to the skin clinic and I have squamous cell carcinoma

submitted by dulcima to TellUpgoat 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 03:37:07 ago (+32/-2)     (TellUpgoat)

Thankfully not melanoma. My skin is as white as milk and I do not tan.

I've had this giant freckle on my upper right arm for ages, then a while ago the thing split in two, one side turning pinkish. Then a couple of months ago a black spot appeared in the centre of the pinkish part.

Started getting concerned so I searched for skin clinics - managed to find an Australian Skin Clinic with white male doctors (so many Australian skin clinics are staffed by pajeets). In two weeks time will go back to get quite a bit of skin removed from my upper arm. Won't be able to go swimming for a while, which is a bitch, but can't be helped.

Next on the to do list is get my eyes checked: My pale eyes are now giving me trouble in sunlight.

Goodluck

I weld a lot without proper protection. As an Irishman, I am most certainly doomed.

[ - ] dulcima [op] 4 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 03:53:44 ago (+5/-1)

Yep, same here. Pure Irish descent, me. lol.

[ - ] Sleazy 3 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:00:10 ago (+3/-0)

Life is a death sentence anyways, you're already doomed

[ - ] lilsysie 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 11:00:42 ago (+1/-1)

That is just fucking stupid.

[ - ] WNwoman 4 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 08:51:26 ago (+4/-0)

How stressful. Good luck with everything. I hope the procedure goes well.

I know you said it’s not melanoma but I’ve started to believe we’ve all been lied to about the sun and sunscreen. We need the sun and vitamin D. It’s good for you in moderation. The chemicals in the sunscreen are probably what gives you the cancer in the first place.

[ - ] NeverHappened 1 point 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 11:28:35 ago (+1/-0)

Pretty conclusively shown that sunscreen is actually terrible for you.

[ - ] VitaminSieg 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 11:58:13 ago (+0/-0)

Coconut oil

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 12:19:48 ago (+0/-0)

As a sunscreen or for sun burns?
I thought the oil was used for tanning or something like that.
I do use coconut oil for various skin issues as well as aloe.

WHITES SHOULD ALWAYS DEMAND A WHITE DERMATOLIGIST.

[ - ] bobdole9 3 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 06:37:18 ago (+3/-0)

My dad would always wear sunglasses outside...also has pale blue eyes.

[ - ] dulcima [op] 1 point 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:39:15 ago (+1/-0)*

I do wear sunglasses as well. I was more reckless when younger and I think my current issues stem from dumb teenage decisions coming home to roost.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 16:29:34 ago (+1/-0)

It's an issue. I've always worn sunglasses on the flight line even before I got prescriptions.

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 18:55:07 ago (+0/-0)

The irony is that he's an industrial welder. Only once in the 90s did he have a shit helmet give out and he started seeing spots...face was a little burnt too.

[ - ] Sector2 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 09:44:31 ago (+2/-0)

Hope it goes well for you, dulcima. Do the needful, and stick around until you're at least as old as paul_neri.

Get some good sunglasses too!

[ - ] Bottled_Tears 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 09:25:34 ago (+2/-0)

I just finished having it in my mouth and had to have surgery on my neck after it being scraped out.

Stage 2 squamous cell carcinoma under my tongue. Was hell, but we caught it where it won't spread.

Best of luck to you brother.

That sucks. Wishing you a full recovery.

You should have got vaxxed. Being vaxxed fixes everything.

[ - ] UncleDoug 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:06:56 ago (+2/-0)

You’ve offended Ireland for not bathing in sudocreme daily.

Hope it all goes well Dulcy.

[ - ] dulcima [op] 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:46:27 ago (+1/-1)

Thanks Doug. Just thankful it is not melanoma. Really just an unsightly mark on my arm, not actually ill or anything.

Not looking forward to the procedure though. The amount of skin they're going to cut away did give me a bit of a shock.

Hey bud I hope BEC5 works on your type!
Big Pharma Market Maker Parasites hate this product.

Your link mentions "non-malignant skin cancers"... that is not a thing.

[ - ] dontbeaphaggot 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 10:50:46 ago (+0/-0)

the fkn marker maker parasite Pharma industry memed non-malignant skin conditions as 'cancer'

Did you see this segment by Jimmy Dore about skin cancer?

This was great. Thanks for the like. I have a small patch of 2nd degree sunburn on my left neck/shoulder juncture right now and now I know I won’t die.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 06:48:50 ago (+2/-0)

I went to get my skin checked and they said, “color is correct, no need to worry” -(Muh White skin).

I too have a little spot I’m watching. That’s all you do, watch and wait.

I too have made an eye appointment this week.

Going deaf as well.

Sorry to hear, dulcima. Hope the procedure goes well and your incision heals up quickly!!

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 11:34:24 ago (+0/-0)

Blue eyes are a blessing and a curse.
I started absolutely having to wear sunglasses in my 20s.
Now driving at night kind of sucks and definitely sucks when it's raining, but in the absence of artificial light my night vision is amazing.
Glad you were able to find a White doctor; good luck and keep us posted.

[ - ] AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 11:14:19 ago (+0/-0)

Good luck. I probably need to do the same.

Intravenous high dose vitamin C and the Joe Tippins protocol are your friends--fenbendazole. https://mycancerstory.rocks/81-2/

Dammit. You should be okay. My aunt just got diagnosed with the bad kind of skin cancer and she just had surgery and got blasted with radiation. They said they got it early but only time will tell. My brother, who is the whitest MF I know(we're all Irish/Scottish,German), got it years ago but he did okay. Hope everything works out for ya, darlin'.

[ - ] vol09877 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 08:55:48 ago (+0/-0)

"I've had this giant freckle on my upper right arm for ages" why didnt you went to a doctor sooner?

[ - ] dulcima [op] 1 point 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 10:02:41 ago (+1/-0)

Good question. I can only say this is the first time I've sought medical treatment since the covid crap and all the lockdowns here.

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:22:06 ago (+1/-1)

Sorry to hear. At least it seems to be an easy fix.

I’m in Mexico on medical right now, myself.

The procedure is done and now I just have 2-3 days of checkups.

It was a win-win. My underwear are lot more comfortable now and hopefully the doctor donated the extra meat to a nearby family in need.

The thought of the actual procedure is worse than the unsightly mark itself! Going to leave a lovely scar.

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 08:03:05 ago (+0/-0)

I know, but at least these women won’t be all like “Owww!! Owww!! YOU’RE HURTING ME!” And then afterwards asking if that was what childbirth feels like.

[ - ] dontbeaphaggot 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:16:37 ago (+0/-0)

Yup, BEC5 suppose to work on squamous as well

Good th o know we. I wish you the best

[ - ] paul_neri -1 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 06:20:21 ago (+0/-1)

Hope it works out for you. I'm sure many Indian doctors are quite competent. Soon Australia will be "Indianised" as Indians are the largest immigrant group after people from the UK apparently.

[ - ] Hansel 1 point 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:35:47 ago (+1/-0)

I'll bet you dream of getting "jabbed" by one of them every single night!

[ - ] dulcima [op] 0 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:50:41 ago (+0/-0)

Thanks for the good wishes Paul.

Can't agree on anything else though. My mum had her teeth wrecked by an incompetent Chinese dentist some years ago and ended up spending a small fortune repairing the damage.

[ - ] canbot -3 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 06:19:33 ago (+2/-5)

Why has it become a thing for people to post their medical problems on here?

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 8 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 08:05:16 ago (+8/-0)

This is a community. Unless you’re a nigger, the concept should not be foreign to you.

[ - ] dulcima [op] 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 07:40:26 ago (+2/-0)

Because this is the sub for it? Feel free to post an adverse nigger encounter or something.

[ - ] Gowithit 2 points 3 weeksMay 22, 2024 10:21:45 ago (+2/-0)

sometimes you get good information from their posting about them.
