In the last years I've only met a Mustang, a few Honda Civic, a few Audi TT, an Alfa Romeo 4C. A couple of Ferrari, a few Porsche 911, Boxter, Panamera. I think that's all. Now all the cars are SUV crossovers. Looks like the sport cars market in EU is dying, or is already dead.
When I was young, there were a lot of sport cars on the streets, especially in the Club's parkings.
You still see a lot of miatas in the USA and you see a lot of the new Corvettes. I'm not sure that you can't qualify a lot of these Tesla's at sports cars because people are buying them partly because they accelerate so quickly so I think you really have to consider a Tesla sports car these days.
There's just not much of a demand. The ones that want sports cars want it to be pushing 800+hp which, frankly prices a lot of people out. At the same time it limits what a manufacturer is able to provide.
Everyone buys those stupid cross over things. Past a Volvo dealership and it was basically all that was on the lot.
Station wagons are gone. Minivans are pretty much gone.
Also, maintaining a sports car is proper work. It's not like a civic where you can skip things.
The other day I passed a huge line of Lamborghini's, Porsche and a few that I don't even know wtf was. They were doing some kind of ride together. There were about 20+ cars.

Less young single men with money is my guess. Because those used to be the people who bought them
