ITT: shitty boomer parents who blame their kids for everything

Every generation has its share of shitty moms and dads. And for those of us who may have had "shitty" parents (mine were not ALL bad, in fact, they taught me a lot) we have the chance to break the poopie chain.

But you are right in the regard that there is comeuppance for all who betray, abuse and neglect their own.

catch 22, if they had enough humility and intelligence to realise that they were shitty, they probably never would've been shitty in the first place. i just limit my interactions with my father, i've tried every tactic to try and make him see sense and it's a waste of time. he's a pure narcissist. i send him a single text for bday/fathers day, put up with maybe 2 phone calls a year where i just let him ramble his garbage, and see him every second xmas. it's a great test of patience, i can't add anything to the conversation without him immediately trying to talk over me. i mainly just put up with it now to make sure i get whatever crumb of inheritance is left after he dies, said crumb under great risk from his new thai wife. ugh...

Well, my boomer father is dead, but yeah.

Father’s day is actually celebrated when your dad reminisces and drinks on the day he fucked your mother.

Mother’s day is your birthday.
