Best I can tell is the author was a general in WWI and the book describes the upcoming war as necessary for survival and biological.

Post #1: Did you read it -47-? I have that very same book, and have not read it: it's a lengthy assessment of Germanys capability, internally, to wage war. It's a lot like some of the fluff you see nowadays which doesn't discuss the cause, but delves into the minutia of the effects. ie, interesting but worthless.

Not yet it's on my list. From scanning some of it seems a lot of hypothetical what if scenarios.

2 much much better books are both "Blacklisted by History" Evans and Americas Retreat From Victory - this one, which coincidentally was right underneath the Germany one: https://i.postimg.cc/Kj6Ym8zp/Americas-retreat-from-victory.png

I'm guessing just how I framed it.
