Well I recall the explosion but not that it was caused by a nuke. I think there were all kinds of chemicals kept at that port and some people knew this was a problem before the explosion.

I tend to believe there are a lot of mistruths with how nuclear bombs are described.

It left a mega crater and looked a whole lot like a nuke going off. And supposedly there were a few frames of video of the missile coming in, but they wanted the main stream story to be that it was "chemicals". Even though we've never, ever seen a "chemical" explosion do anything that even remotely looked like that, alone at scale.
