I live in a large senior community in Florida and was asked if I wanted to create a church service in the community center. A few folks know how well I understand the Bible and are tired of the original 'same old stuff' service. I have avoided going to church for many decades, but the offer is tempting. You are right about other groups like edomites being subjected to forced conversions.
But its important to understannd that todays jews including ashkenazi are so unrelated to either ancient hebrews or edomites that it doesn’t matter who the Hasmonians converted.

Not sure if I want to take this on. Most people are Churchitarians. I got my education in London 1978-1979 at the Orange Street Congregational Church. They teach what is called British-Israelism. I only joined because of a cute redhead. Years later, I met a an old man in California teaching a clarification of British-Israelism, and being a bit older, I got interested. Still can't stand going to regular churches. Will post a good link more in line with my interests and my central theme should I do the deed.
I think I can guess what that is. I don’t think there’s much evidence for that theory. I always felt scientific explanations for the origins of white people (and everyone else) were always adequate. Theres now alot of DNA evidence from ancient europeans which has allowed scientst to reconstruct how white europeans over time.
I believe that the people most descended from the people who wrote the OT are palestinians and that can be shown genetically.
