It's not that they can't do anything right. It's that they are clearly becoming more and more desperate. Their efforts not only have diminishing returns, they will back fire because they will lose more land in a Russian created buffer zone and will turn the hearts and minds of the locals in that area against Ukraine.

Look at Crimea. Ukraine wants Crimea back, so they attack their bridge? Fuck up the lives of Crimeans to own duh Ruskies? It's why 95+% of Crimeans want to be a part of Russia. The correct move is to agree to the initial demands made by Russia before this incursion started.

There was a time when they could have done that and the Russian troops would have pulled out of the Donbass. Now, Ukraine is losing territory faster than ever before.
