"Near Belaya, civilians who noticed the drones being launched from the mobile houses intervened and reinstalled the roof plates, limiting the damage. Later, the houses were seen on fire."
Meanwhile, close to Oleyna, the man who was driving the truck carrying the mobile houses was reportedly arrested. Video footage also showed the body of another driver who was apparently strangled to death, although it is unclear where exactly the footage was taken.
This says that the method used to fly the drones was ardupilot.
It's a very commonly used open source software program that runs on a $20 Arduino that RC aircraft and boat enthusiasts have been using for more than a decade. This does not take a lot of sophistication to use.
The idea that this attack took a lot of sophistication is wrong. People need to be more aware of the common stuff that's out there on the internet that's used by everyday people and no it shouldn't be taken away.
The smart part of this attack was to put drones inside trucks and no they weren't put in wooden houses. It's quite obvious they were put in what looked like normal tractor trailer cargo containers which wouldn't draw any attention. I don't know why every story keeps calling them wooden houses.
Anyway that was the only genius part of this whole attack was to put the drones inside something and try to sneak them across the border deep into Russia where they would have the range to hit these bombers.
I'll tell you it's just amazing to me I keep hearing stories from US military and all these military people and because they go to these arms weapons shows and they see what the arms dealers tell them is the latest and greatest they actually believe that when none of them seem to be aware of all the open source stuff that's out there it is very simple and easy to use that regular people have been using for their hobbies for more than 10 years. Yet the military people think oh that's not military grade so therefore it's not the latest and greatest. Let me just tell you the open source stuff in almost every case no matter what it deals with is always better than the clothes source stuff that's expensive from all the military contractors.
After the drones that everybody's using now are these basically consumer drones although they may be manufacturing them now for military purposes but these quad copies are basically the same thing you can buy for less than $100. So you know they better get a clue.
It's just so f**** stupid. But it was very smart of them to put them in the truck trailers and sneak them across the border. That was the only sophisticated part of this whole attack.
The rest of it could have been done with easy right off the shelf equipment and probably was.
And I don't know if they did indeed do some artificial intelligence training on these drones to know to hit the wing Roots instead of other parts of the plane and to identify which plane but since they obviously have video from the drones themselves as the attack is going on it leads me to believe that there was two-way communication with these drones and artificial intelligence was not needed but they were probably being directed by pilots somewhere.
But even if artificial intelligence was used even that is no longer a big sophisticated thing and again it just goes to show you that the military people don't even know what the f* is out there right now and they're not paying attention to consumer websites and to all the simple websites that you can find just by going to the technology set subreddit on Reddit or any of these other things for AI or drones or RC hobbies or any of this stuff which is obviously what the ukrainians are doing.
I hate zielinsky in the Jewish plot to overthrow the last remaining white European nation of Russia at least the western part of it is a white European nation so don't give me your Slavic b***** people
But still rush a really f* up here by leaving their bombers out in the open. I mean you're in the middle of a f** war and you've seen drones go further and further into your territory so you don't really want to keep your bombers parked out there in the open thinking "oh they can't hit these because they're too far inland."
Build f**** shelters around them so the stupid little drones can't drop a bomb big enough to penetrate the shelter and hurt the bomber.
I mean come on!
Oh and also if you have a factory that's producing important missiles or whatever for your capabilities it's time to take a clue from American driving ranges and build those giant 10-story nets around them so the drones can't get through and they can't drop their little bombs on them and make the nets out of metal wire and not some kind of plastic or something so they can't just fireball them and melt it away. I mean come on people.
For decades, treaties kept nukes in check, bombers had to be out in the open, silos sealed,so nobody could pull off a surprise strike. It was the thin line stopping World War III. Zelensky shattered it all in one move. He threw out the rules, erased decades of stability, and threw us straight back into Cold War chaos. Anyone who helped make this happen isn’t just reckless, they’re a danger to the entire planet. And people actually celebrating this? Completely out of their minds.
