The first time I saw a lamborghini, it was a mindfuck. Everything was so different and kinetic from any other car. I am not a car person, and I don't think I would want one. (who am i kidding?) But the exotic beauty is breathtaking.
Agreed. I think it's because they're so unusual to what you normally see on the road. So ya look like what the fuck is that?
Ya probably wouldn't. Unless ya don't mind a couple hundred thousand going out of your bank account with a car that's largely designed for tracks and will be a nightmare in a city with hills, pot holes etc. A lot of old ones are not user friendly. Clutch is hard, visibility is junk, a chip in the paint costs thousands etc.
supercars and hypercars are for people who like to make a statement. That statement is usually "I'm deeply in debt and this car makes me feel like everything is okay". Or "I just ripped off the taxpayers for a billion dollars, look at me I am your lordling, peasants"
I'm from western Washington. I was in high school when the Clinton's unveiled their "bridge to the 21st century". First they destroyed our economy with the spotted owl. Then they bought up everything for pennies on the dollar. Then they brought in their slaves. They live on the people farms. The source of western Washington liberal infection was evergreen college. It was like an mk ultra indoctrination center or something ultra spoopy like that. It churned out clintonistas
The spotted owl thing started in the mid-late eighties. I remember a lumber yard I used to go to in 1988 and they had bumper stickers on the counter that read ‘save a tree, wipe your ass with a spotted owl’.
We didn't understand. They steamrolled us with social engineering and bottomless money. We should have destroyed them, but we figured they were like us and didn't mean any harm. We were wrong
