Love this car. Had hot wheels and bigger models of it as a kid.

Fucking absolute banger and a classic.

The first time I saw a lamborghini, it was a mindfuck. Everything was so different and kinetic from any other car. I am not a car person, and I don't think I would want one. (who am i kidding?) But the exotic beauty is breathtaking.

Agreed. I think it's because they're so unusual to what you normally see on the road. So ya look like what the fuck is that?

Ya probably wouldn't. Unless ya don't mind a couple hundred thousand going out of your bank account with a car that's largely designed for tracks and will be a nightmare in a city with hills, pot holes etc. A lot of old ones are not user friendly. Clutch is hard, visibility is junk, a chip in the paint costs thousands etc.

supercars and hypercars are for people who like to make a statement. That statement is usually "I'm deeply in debt and this car makes me feel like everything is okay". Or "I just ripped off the taxpayers for a billion dollars, look at me I am your lordling, peasants"

The spotted owl thing started in the mid-late eighties. I remember a lumber yard I used to go to in 1988 and they had bumper stickers on the counter that read ‘save a tree, wipe your ass with a spotted owl’.

Several of my neighbors have self driving Lambo SUVs. Quite nice.
