Another post on Magnesium

submitted by Trope to Health 7 hoursMay 24, 2025 22:29:43 ago (+13/-0)     (Health)

The desalination plants of Israel add magnesium to the water. (While the rest of us got fluroine) Source: The Magnesium Miracle book.

I cannot say it’s praises enough and will continue to do so. I developed a heart palpitation doing “keto”. Cured it immediately with magnesium. The next day, my mind was the calmest it’s ever been and it has remained that way.

We all know glyphosate is bullshit. It chelates magnesium and copper. Agricultural scientists warned Congress that the soils didn’t have the magnesium levels of just a few generations prior. This was 100 years ago.

The crops are sprayed with glyphosate and atrazine and now everyone is gay and has anxiety.

It’s hypothesized humanity lived near coastlines and ate a lot more shell fish and food sources very high in magnesium. Vikings consumed well over seven grams of salt daily. (Source: Salt Your Way to Health)

Unlike potassium, magnesium won’t kill you if you over consume. Our bodies can simply blast it out the other end. I put a small scoop of food-grade Epson salt in my cats water bowl since magnesium isn’t listed in his food ingredients. Interestingly, copper and iodine are both present.

Lastly, I saw one of you other Voat niggerfaggots recommending magnesium. That’s great.

How much do you recommend taking daily?

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 6 hoursMay 24, 2025 22:44:59 ago (+1/-0)

Worth noting some people cannot tolerate supplementing magnesium and will experience painless diarrhea with smaller doses. The doctor in the book recommends a special magnesium formula for such people.

I started with just 200mg of Magnesium Citrate which cured my palpitation and made my mind no longer squirrely. Upon reading other books, I’ve heard people suggest 1000mg daily.

Magnesium Citrate is said to have a calming effect so I take a 200mg tablet before bed. And before lectures or public speaking.

Magnesium Glycinate is praised for being the most absorbable. I take 800mg after dinner most days.

One person on Upgoat made a post about Magnesium Malate making him feel depressed and awful so I haven’t bothered with it.

Magnesium Oxide is almost garbage with a 4% absorbability rate. However, there was a study explaining mg oxide prevented birth defects. But don’t take my word for it: the Audiobook is very long and detailed. The Magnesium Miracle on Audible.

If you experiment with magnesium supplementation, please consider posting your results.

take 9001mg magnesium, do not pass go, do not collect healing crystals

All magnesium gives me the runs. I still take it every two days but I have to be very careful

[ - ] Trope [op] 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:27:28 ago (+0/-0)

The doctor who wrote the book Magnesium Miracle formulated this product for people sensitive to supplemental magnesium. If I had any complaint about the book, it’s that she plugs the damn stuff in every chapter.

Still, consider reading or listening to the book before taking my advice as an internet stranger.

Read the label.

Do NOT take dosage instructions from interweb trolls.

[ - ] Trope [op] 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:17:31 ago (+0/-0)*

Not a troll. Not for this post anyway. Read books written by doctors and find what works.

Don’t hurt yourself.

You a mama’s boy, xmass? Mamas Boys are generally fearful of risk. And with a magnesium supplement being such a minor risk, you seem adverse to even the slightest of.

But yes, to add to Xmass’s concerns: Do your research. Start small. Don’t hurt yourself.

weird.

When I lived in NY a Russian lady stopped me on the Subway and told me I needed to take magnesium. I was feeling particularly run down that day. I took it as a sign and haven't looked back since.

Only problem is it can give you a real sudden case of the galloping trots.

[ - ] TankTinker 2 points 6 hoursMay 24, 2025 22:37:04 ago (+2/-0)

My instincts say beware of panegyrics touting miracle cures ..

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 6 hoursMay 24, 2025 22:46:05 ago (+1/-0)

It’s an electrolyte and it is a miracle cure because over 90% of people are deficient.

Imagine thinking vitamin C was bullshit if you were sailing on a ship for 3 months while your crew dies of scurvy.

[ - ] mikenigger 2 points 5 hoursMay 24, 2025 23:34:01 ago (+2/-0)

it's what plants crave

[ - ] __47__ 1 point 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:07:22 ago (+1/-0)

Take mag oxide 400mg everyday along with coq10 with food every day. Lowered my blood pressure fast.

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:20:28 ago (+1/-0)

Nice, dude. Thank you for sharing.

Magnesium oxide has a fairly small absorbability rate. May want to investigate citrate or glycinate when it comes time to pickup more.

[ - ] __47__ 0 points 4 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:39:58 ago (+0/-0)

Of course. We goats have to look out for one another.

I will look into that.

[ - ] UncleDoug 1 point 6 hoursMay 24, 2025 23:09:59 ago (+1/-0)

Unlike potassium, magnesium won’t kill you if you over consume.

Mg toxicity will put you into a coma and result in death.

We all know glyphosate is bullshit. It chelates magnesium and copper.

Toxic glyphosates are a topical horticultural control that is a herbicide to treat weeds.

Copper is another foliar spray used to treat fungal infections on plants, it is typically a pesticide as it duly inhibits insects that feed on fruit trees or perennials. copper sulfate pentahydrate is also toxic AF and you should wear gloves when applying it.

Vikings consumed well over seven grams of salt daily

That much salt is not good, it causes hypertension, stroke and osteperosis.

I developed a heart palpitation doing “keto”. Cured it immediately with magnesium.

Too much Mg actually causes heart palpitations

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:04:48 ago (+1/-0)

All of your statements are bullshit. Especially the one regarding salt causing hypertension.

Read some books, Doug. Then when you’re done, read more. You do yourself and others a disservice by sticking to mainstream wisdom.

I start my morning with 3 grams of salt mixed into water. Makes my fast go longer.

[ - ] UncleDoug 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:10:50 ago (+1/-1)

How does an electrolyte imbalance not impact your kidneys? Do you realise if you have too much salt or any mineral, your body has to work harder to remove that product as waste, your liver, kidney and heart works harder?

All of your statements are bullshit.

I dare you to take 2000mg of Mg a day, log it and post it online. When we don't hear from you in a few months, I'll know I am right 💀

[ - ] Trope [op] 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:24:55 ago (+0/-0)

Interestedly, the kidneys are very efficient at dumping excess sodium. Insufficient dietary sodium would have the kidneys need to recycle sodium, which will lead to damage over time. This coming from the doctor that wrote Salt Your Way to Health.

I don’t need to be right about everything. What’s most important is that my skepticism leads me to investigate new ideas rather than to dismiss them.

At 2000mg of magnesium, I would bet I’d risk diarrhea. Still, no way to know until we experiment.

I didn’t down Voat you btw.

[ - ] UncleDoug 2 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:31:30 ago (+2/-0)

This coming from the doctor that wrote Salt Your Way to Health.

Dr. David Brownstein is a holistic physician not a Doctor, so a jewish quack that wants you to have coronary failure from eating processed trash.

At 2000mg of magnesium, I would bet I’d risk diarrhea.

You be at risk of death

OP has a stall at Mind Body Festival and "heals" lonely haggard women with the power of coloured crystals.

[ - ] Trope [op] 0 points 6 hoursMay 24, 2025 23:06:09 ago (+0/-0)

No no. My goal is to open a clinic (gym in the back) and shoot all my bros in the ass with testosterone. I still have a lot of school to go through.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:24:41 ago (+0/-0)

wants to inject men in the ass
Very sus

[ - ] Trope [op] 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:28:54 ago (+0/-0)

A valid assessment I will admit.

[ - ] Stonkmar 0 points 21 minutesMay 25, 2025 05:11:26 ago (+0/-0)

My stupid ass takes the chewable magnesium but it has Red 40 in it, so I need to switch to something else.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:22:35 ago (+0/-0)

Israelis are not healthy though, despite ostensibly eating a Mediterranean diet

[ - ] TheSimulacra 1 point 2 hoursMay 25, 2025 02:45:49 ago (+1/-0)

Healthy diet does not make up for inbreeding.

[ - ] xmasskull 0 points 5 hoursMay 24, 2025 23:41:29 ago (+0/-0)

How did your cat react? ie:coat, demeaner, ect.

[ - ] Trope [op] 1 point 5 hoursMay 25, 2025 00:03:05 ago (+1/-0)

Still a young boy. Cannot say there has been any noticeable reaction.

Guess we’ll have to wait 20 years and see how this goes.
