Interesting. I never really knew the details of the court case.

I like Baldwin is an idiot but based on what I'm reading there he was told to pull the gun quickly and shoot it in a rehearsal and that's what he did and he had no way of knowing that it was loaded.

On movie sets actors don't get to play with the guns or examine them to see if they're loaded. They are dependent upon the weapons handler who is supposed to be knowledgeable and let's face it most actors don't know a damn thing about guns or their second amendment rights.

Wow. Rehearsal is the new narrative now. The original reports were that he was kinda fuckin around in downtime and wanted to prank with blanks

This story is quite weird. As far as I know, the prop guns for movies usually have the barrel blocked by a metallic safety bar to prevent accidental shooting with real bullets.

Nope, they use real guns most of the time, and that's because they want the bang. There are prop guns that have a tiny explosion, but the real guns with blanks is more realistic. Even though the blanks produce little recoil or blast compared to a complete cartridge.

I knew of a guy that owned hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of machine guns and exotic stuff and he rented them to hollywood.

You're being downvoted for providing the truth. This place is getting as fucking ignorant as Reddit.
