I don't know about this pic but identifiable trees (and other things) are found in coal seams fairly often. A lot of people, myself included, believe that large floods sweeping across the land push organic matter up against mountains, where it sits, under mud, and turns into coal. I know there are some pole-shift believers here.

Not just pole shifts but re-occurring cataclysms that completely reform the Earth.

The undeniable logic conclusion is that humanity has had heights of civilization throughout the last 200,000 years minimum.

They've found homo-sapien skeletons going back almost 300,000 years, and they want us to believe high functioning society has only existed maybe a handful of times in the last 15,000 years.

That doesn't make any logical sense if we've been around at minimum 250,000 years as a species.

Something happens re-occurring on this planet that sets it back to the stone age, I believe it's a handful of things including pole-shifts.

Not to mention when they say "modern humans" they mean that 200k years ago we looked how we look now (aside from racial developments) and have similar if not the same levels of brainpower.

That means 200k years of what we are today, and we only started making towns and farms recently?

It's not like a wooden home should be expected to last 20k+ years...

The steel frame of your car will turn to dust in 15,000 years. Aluminum and titanium last much longer, we might be the first civilization to use those in abundance.

What is the process by which all the rest of the organic material turns into coal, but not the organic tree stump and roots? Shouldn't the same process apply to all organic material?

Where is the rest of the tree?

Selective coalification seems exactly like selective enforcement of laws and needs an intelligence behind it.

100 bucks that pic is fake.

Not the same picture, obviously, but also not the same stump. A reddit post like this provides no more proof than the OP video. While these stumps may be real (unlikely), the chainsaw bit is retarded. So, still fake. Fake af. And gay.

Hmm. Interesting. In this current age of AI garbage, stories like this raise both my eyebrows. But hey, if it's true, it's true. I have no doubt about the reality of fossils; it's the chainsaw bit that is the real offender here.

Zooming in a bit and the stump looks like it has been round out, perhaps eroded. Chainsaw i think not. Cool picture tho.

Probably Photoshopped. Or, bored pranksters miners hauled a real stump down there for the selfie.

When you cut down a tree, you don't use a straight cut like that.

petrified wood breaks off like that

I mean if dinosaurs invented space travel it’s not like we would know.

Some years ago I came across an article demonstrating that giant trees were purposely cut down by masons and the masons would take photos with the downed trees while flashing masonic gang signs with their hands.
