Who says "this year we are taking more money from you and if you resist us we will shoot you", and is allowed to do so?

Are you allowed to break into a house, take someone's stuff and then make you pay a court fee to get it back? If I did that I would get arrested. When the government does it it's paid by tax payers.

Don't forget, the whole covid lock downs were put into effect because of the poorly written law that they themselves put into effect. Which we are quite sure were poorly written on purpose, considering the guy who used it was the guy who installed it.

The state isn't always the one that sponsors it. However the government is the one that chooses what is acceptable. This is specially true in vic, where the government regularly makes it illegal to report on various items.
