Article IV section 1, also known as the full faith and credit clause, says no shit like this. The 14th Amendment, and specifically the equal protection clause you have in mind, reads in part (emphasis mine:)
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
But, on the other hand, if we followed the full faith and credit clause then we'd have to accept citizen-only (voter) ID issued to illegals by the likes of California and New York, and the only advantage would be they'd have to recognize your handgun carry license.
