Most people don't know but fiberglass is actually stronger than carbon fiber. What carbon fiber is better at is being stiffer. That's why it's used in formula 1 suspension components because if a formula 1 suspension component bends even 1/8 of an inch it throws the wheel tracking off and that makes a different when you're going 200 miles an hour on twisties.
Incarnation n fiber has a problem though. It's brittle.
