I know they like a good head, but there is zero consistency in those. Some are an inch or two, and some look to be literally half the glass.

In traditional pubs they usually have a line on the glass so you know you at least got your pint of liquid, and then there's a few inches of foam on top.

No you fucking clown because the glass is bigger and marked 500ml with a line with room for foam. The foam filters the beer and gives it a crisp taste. Learn how to drink beer FFS. How would you know how much beer you have in your glass? I know we'll have a standard were every glass has a measurement mark. For example 500ml. Then you pour the beer to that mark and the 2 inches of foam are above that, still in the glass.

This is the standard for draft beer in Czech. We invented the modern beer.

Ceske Budejovice or Budweise in German - city in Czech

The German and Czech standard is it takes a minimum of 3 times to fill a large beer which is 500ml. The reason is because they don't pump CO2 into the beer, it is aged naturally and forms it's own carbonation. This makes it foam way more even if you poor it slowly and tip to the side. You're drinking mcdonalds beer bud.

You're drinking some piss beer, aged artificially so some jews can make more, pumped full of CO2 and from some glass that you have no idea how much beer you actually got and you're worried about extra foam in a marked glass?
