Entire system is beyond fucked.

All of the dissenting "justices" probably need kickbacks for their beach house.

Hopefully the jewdicial system just brought the microscope on themselves. I doubt there are many more corrupt institutions than that one.

According to the CBO

U.S. Supreme Court
The total FY2025 discretionary request for the Supreme
Court, $160.0 million, is contained in two accounts: (1)
Salaries and Expenses ($146.3 million) and (2) Care of the
Building and Grounds ($13.7 million).

If the republicans in congress had a pair of testicles they would designate the next 20 + years of the Supreme Court budget to pay for this ruling.
No salaries, no maintenance, no security, no healthcare- nothing.
They made the bed, fucking sleep in it.

work completed

Like, what? LBGTQ+P body positivity for obese amputee children in Lesotho?

That's not relevant. If you're contracted to do the job, and do the job regardless what it is, you deserve to get paid for it. The one that needs hanged is the fuckface who wrote the contract and started the program.

It's work already completed.

Not a wrong decision.

If fraud was later found there are procedures for clawing it back.

Did you read the entire article?

requires the quick disbursement of as much as $2 billion owed to contractors for already completed work.

This decision only affects completed work, not future freezes.

It sucks but it's for only work that has already been done.

Which is very reasonable to me, although many of those contractors probably didn’t do shit yet to deserve it.

You're advocating paying a bunch of thieves. Fuck off.
