Smile 2: need it or sneed it?

I thought it was the best horror flick I've ever seen. Massive jump scares, and lots of em. Absolutely brutal gore. Highly effective sound design and music, if you can even call some of it that.

Lead actress chick even learned the songs and choreography IRL for the role, which lends itself well to the overall authenticity of the film. Yes, I'm aware she's a dike.

What did you fags think? It's a much needed break from all the saccharine Christmas stuff, I found.

I enjoy horror. When I get spooked, I get giddy and laugh. By the end of Smile 2, I was grinning because it done spooked me good.

It does a great job detailing delirium which I find horrifying. It uses one of my favorite tropes: Lost time.

And that twist during the car ride. Man, that hit me right in the gut. At that point, you realize she’s been dangled along this entire time. Man, that got me.

I don’t like the ugly bull dyke hairstyle and gay dance shit, but it makes sense as she is trying to differentiate herself from her past.

They will be making more Smile films which is great. I love a simple premise.

Despite the trailer, I thought that was actually a pretty good paced suspenseful horror, i'm totally claustrophobic for the underground stuff and very tunnelling adverse so that probably played into it.

Yea, honestly i have no idea on what's behind all the 411 missing stuff other than there is definitely some spooky shit going on. Basically, I'm either not going or if i am it's completely loaded up over the top to the nines.

I generally don't like horror shit.
They are usually just glorified B flicks.
I can't suspend disbelief and it always just seems like a waste of time.

Tell you what. I'll watch it.
If it's good, I'll give you 10 points.
But if I think it is a waste of any time, you have to stick your tongue in @PostWallHelena's front hole.

I have a very hard time getting into "modern" horror. Most of these films are just glorified tough chick films with loud contrived jump scares and overblown fake CGI gore. The last film that really spooked me was Hereditary, which I thought was genuinely scary and really filled me with dread. I would even go as far to call it a classic. Also recently saw Frailty, which while not necessarily a horror movie, sure fit the bill. Don't think the Smile movies are up my alley, but I'll look into them.

I’m not saying it was a great franchise. I’m saying that the scene on Saw 2 where the big nigger threw the white girl in the pit of dirty syringes was the only time I ever had to turn away and not watch any scene in a horror movie in it’s entirety. That shit was fucking crazy.
