Russian Telegram channels recently published footage showing Russian soldiers making DIY anti-drone ammunition by using the pellets taken from buckshot rounds and repurposing them to be used in normal 5.45x39mm rounds used in assault rifles.

Once they get AI into a drone that will solve the latency problem and they will be able to use them long range, the operator would just decide if something dies or not
Buck shot will work on the small anti personnel drones. It’s no different than duck hunting. Except the duck is heading right for you, and will explode when it gets close. It takes skill, you just don’t hand some knucklehead a shotgun and say “good luck” because duck hunting takes practice and skill.

Motorbike scouts to deploy smoke, draw fire then scoot.
10 men split into 4 fire teams, dropped off by a single bmp.
But get this.
Backed up by 50 drones. They literally swarm the defenders.
And should Ukraine successfully defend or its spotted that they are defending enmass.
RF just drops a fab and takes them out and or mass artillery fire.
All wars are hard on infantry but this one is atrocious. The Ukrainians are getting slaughtered.
The sole success I see out of the afu is there specialist drone heavy units.
But those only cover a tiny part of the front and are burst defenders.
