Thought about this for a bit. I say no. It's torture and accepting torture perpetuates it. I don't think the brazen bull is ever justifiable. I don't want to live in a world where it is. There are better way to kill.

Torture doesn't perpetuate torture. It's also viable means (for those willing) to dispose of one's enemies.

There are better ways to kill.

So a more humane way to kill someone (snort) - accepting killing just perpetuates killing.

There is a difference between killing and torture. There are many reasons to kill. There are no valid reasons to torture. I believe accepting it opens you up to it. Call it karma or whatever.

There are perfectly valid reasons to torture - gaining of vital time sensitive information, to send an explicit message and simple cold hard revenge.

Of course there is nuance as to why it's happening, but it has it place and use.
