It's funny. I was never big into watching sports, but playing in bands turned me on to baseball and hockey. Don't really care for anything else, but I find it more enjoyable as I get older... But yes, some of the fanaticism is just as bad as middle aged people obsessed with Marvel movies.

I don't give a fuck about "bread and circus" acts anymore but at one time I had hockey potential, until a bike accident rerouted my plans. I lived and loved the sport but walked from it when #99 retired.

we called this bat-tennis. used to be played on knee tearing bitumen with wooden bars you had to drag out of a storage room somewhere. its a primary school game. or was. can remember going to a school in Footscray to play against another school. most primary schools when i went actually had a bunch of courts painted on the playground somewhere.

four square which was kind of volleyball without a net or duster hockey would be the other two most common ones.... and i just realised why duster hockey is a thing... lazy ass fucking teachers not wanting to clean their own gear so they get the kids to smash them backwards and forwards with sticks and call it a 'game'

Hockey is insanely expensive to play in Maryland. Lacrosse is closely related and we also play box lax indoors that uses hockey rules. Professional Lacrosse League is not as fun to watch as college lax and they are pushing hard to get niggers in the game.

i got thrown into an under 18 water polo team when i was a weedy fucking 14 year old because for some retarded reason my mother thought i was the worlds greatest athlete. i was a damn good swimmer but for fucks sake.... didnt enjoy it. never had any interest in it. no idea why i ended up in it. certainly wasnt my idea.
