But that’s not what the article says. It was discontinued before he was even involved in the specific court case about it. And clearly Taco Bell stole the idea, took it to Chiat/Day, and thought they could get away with it.

Shields and Rinks’ $42 million idea might have been great for millennial memes, but its effectiveness as a Chalupa spokesperson left a lot to be desired.

Funny enough, “Yo quiero Taco Bell” and that dog are the ONLY thing I remember about Taco Bell in the last 30 years. So no, SFG, you’re completely wrong.
