The Brits and the Germans have both already said that they have already exhausted all of their "war stocks" of 155mm ammo, sending it to ukraine.

(German minister of defense advised the German government that they have less than a 3 day supply of ammo for combat.)

You don't even have to destroy it in order to render it combat ineffective.

Just a little bit of quick napkin math here:

US made 155mm artillery round production cost = $600 apiece.
(That's just to produce it. That's sitting out on the loading dock. That's not including the cost of transporting it across an ocean to where it needs to go.)

Russian 152mm artillery round production cost = $120 apiece.
(shipped overland by rail direct from the factory to the depot)

Same 152mm artillery round, but produced in NK = $60
(Russia just bought 60,000 of them. Also to be shipped overland by rail.)

The level of stupid is jaw dropping.
