I live a mile from endless farmlands. I would have to change how I got food, but it would be available. Assuming the farms/farmers aren't nuked or something.

Not in Florida. Not even Orlando or Miami. The swamps, rivers, ocean and Gulf are full of food. Shit, one of the reasons manatees are an endangered species is because of the great depression. They don't call them sea cows for nothing. Plenty to forage for if you know what to look for. There's nutrition everywhere, but I don't think the folks in the city are gonna be too keen on cat tails and mud bugs with a side of swamp cabbage.
