I just tested llama 3.2 1b 4 bit. It runs great on my shitty android. It's surprisingly good too.

That is just the precision of the model. It's still coherent and smart. Running on a cell phone. That is mind blowing to me. If you can run a better model then go for it. If shit hits the fan tomorrow and the internet went down I will be thankful to have it on my phone.

Just downloaded this and have been trying it out.

I loaded the Qwenn LLM, and asked it a couple of test questions, such as: Is Joe Biden/Donald Trump a retarded moron? It gave similar answers for both; such as admonishing me for 'personal attacks' and such, but for the Biden answer it listed a paragraph about his educational and public service achievements, but only a brief synopsis of Trump's.

No mention of his education or television career, only that he was a 'controversial figure who had a career in real estate, and that public opinion is divided' on him.

Just goes to show that even though these are open source LLM's, they are still nerfed to a degree, but nothing in comparison to The Big names in the field. Probably about as based as we're going to get right now.
