In a country that used to be called "The Breadbasket of Africa" (back when it was Rhodesia) because they produced not only 100% of the calories that the whole country needed to feed their own population domestically, but also EXPORTED food to it's three neighbors and fed theirs too.

I wrote an intel report in 1984, analyzing the economic situation in Poland and extending that into the Warsaw Pact, predicting the fall of the Soviet Union and with it the entire Warsaw pact, within 5 years, and exactly why it would happen.
That report went up the chain, disappeared into the "5-sided wind-tunnel" and AFAIK, was never seen again.

So in 1989, when the Berlin Wall was breached and marked the beginning of the end of the whole shebang, I was apparently the ONLY one in the room who WASN'T surprised.

It's no longer a matter of "if" anymore. We already passed the "if" exit a couple of miles back.

Yes but that not enough, you need a shiload of ovens, else all the animals that feed of carcass will get lazy and when all the mountains of culled pests are gone they won't perform their duties.

I didn't read this article but another one suggested that there had been a seasonal watering hole that the elephants would visit on their migration. Around 50 years ago they began pumping water so there was water continuously and the elephants stopped migrating and started staying in this area. Not sure if true or bullshit but just what I recall reading.

There are infinite gazelle in Africa, which are probably way easier to take down than the wprld largest land animal. And I can tell you, from personal experience, gazelle is fucking delicious. All you never-eaten-a-gazelle poorfags have never truly lived.
