Her definition of love is different from mine. I love my kids, but the love I have for them means I am working to make them the best humans they can be. They don't know how to do that...it's my job.

Now love for spouse - certainly they should already be the best human they can be. If they're making your life as trying as a four year old's tantrum (crying and yelling over something stupid), you picked the wrong spouse.
