Think I'll make my new pork chop recipe tonight

this is a favorite one with some variations, but for grilling this is my jam.

Pat them bone in bitches dry, and season with salt, cracked black pepper, and paprika (extra if you're part Hungarian)

Then marinate in Italian dressing, with a dash of Worcestershire, crushed garlic and red pepper flakes, or mama teav's hot garlic (very little) if you have it.

Grill them motherfuckers.

Hmm, I’m actually grilling the same cut tonight. Might gibs dis a whirl!
Edit: Ok, I’m changing it up a bit. Gonna marinate first, then rub with black pepper before grilling. Skipping the paprika and changing soy sauce for the Worcestershire. I dislike Worcestershire.

You know what, I decided to do the Worcestershire as you said. I use Italian dressing packets in order to avoid soybean oil, so I make it with olive oil. I added some apple cider to the mix to increase the amount of liquid, besides, it’s what I ad in my hand at the moment. The chops are in the bag marinating right now!

You know, I forgot I’d pulled the plug out of the bottle, so I got a splash, not a dash, but the apple cider mellowed it out.
I’ve found Worcestershire sauce can easily overpower everything else in a sauce or marinade. Ill usually cut the amount by 1/2-1/3.

To refrain from doing the simple things that give joy to yourself and those around you IS foolish.

Food is life, and the gift of food is the gift of life.

One of my greatest simple pleasures was to bake fresh bread, and as soon as it came out of the oven, cut thick slices from the center of the loaves, spread on soft butter and a little honey and then take those slices to my kids, while the smell of that fresh bread filled the house. The looks on their faces was my reward. They still talk about things like that.

Enjoy your pork chops with people you love and be happy. These will be the things you'll end up wishing you'd done more.
