No one can catch up with China

A submarine full of street shitters would be a weapon of mass destruction in and of itself.

I thought the whole point of nuclear bombs was you didn't have to be close to your adversary. So do they really need to catch up?

Yes that's a joke.

I would advise that you first examine the naval history of both countries.

Imagine arguing the potential effectiveness of:

indian submarines, designed by indian engineers, and built in india, by indians, to indian standards of "excellence".

versus

chinese submarines, designed by chinese engineers, and built in china, by chinese, to chinese standards of "excellence".

I'm just saying that it's going to be hard for the crews to be heard shouting harsh language at each other while perpetually dry docked in their home ports.

Cynical, dude, and possibly based on outdated cliches? Case in point...who would have bought a [Jap car. Can't remember its name but when I do I'll fill in the blank] 30 years ago? Now look at them...quite respectable!

How recent would you like?

One big example for China: How about last year when Xi had to fire most of his general staff because he found out that he couldn't launch their ICBMs that they were so proud of, even if he wanted to, because they didn't have any fuel in them?

How about the Russian aircraft carrier that they bought and never went to sea? Why is that?
Because they lack the systemic capability to produce, man and maintain complex combat systems.

One for India: Would you say that a jet fighter is a complex piece of machinery? I would.
And would you also say that a submarine is a vastly more complex machine than a jet fighter? I would.

So why can't india get a single foreign sale for it's homegrown fighters? Not one.
Not even any of the african countries, even when offered generous support and spare parts deal.
The USAF evaled them for trainers and noped right the fucked out of that. Why do you think that is?

Same problem. Systemic corruption and the inability to produce and maintain complex combat systems over time.

Would you say that:

In the case of China, landing a spacecraft on the far side of the moon would involve more complex machinery and systems than building and firing an ICBM or operating an aircraft carrier?

In the case of India, landing a spacecraft on the moon would involve more complex machinery and systems than a jet fighter/submarine?

Possibly China/India do have deficiencies in their combat programs but their space programs suggest to me, at least, these nations have significant technological expertise and it's just a matter of time before they rectify any deficiencies in their war machines.

In the case of China, landing a spacecraft on the far side of the moon

55 years after we'd already done it with live humans, and with technology they'd stolen from us that was 2 generations more advanced than 1969.

In the case of India, landing a spacecraft on the moon

Uh-huh. For certain values of the word "land".

I suppose if you really wanted to stretch a point, you could say that crashing is a form of landing.

I also can't help but notice that they never tried again.

It's kinda adorable in a way. Like watching 2 retarded kids thrashing around in a ball pit and each declaring themselves the winner.

And it still doesn't address the most salient point. Neither china nor india has ANY history of blue water naval operations. You don't just wish that into existence. You have to put in a couple of generations of hard work to make it happen. And they haven't. You can steal, or buy or build the hardware, but you can't buy or steal the human capital and institutionalized knowledge it takes to make it work.

You can't "speed run" a coral reef.

Good lord, imagine what the inside of that sub must smell like after months under the sea.
Curry filled piles of shit accumulating in every nook and cranny in a sealed compartment.
I doubt even cockroaches would thrive in those conditions. Only curryniggers and flies.

That being said, Uncle Sam’s fucking Navy just commissioned it’s new “gender neutral” submarine…
This is our priority now.
The woke cancer has spread into all organs of the west and has become terminal.
