The sale ended at 7pm est, so I went ahead and bought it. It won't get here until October, though.

You got the PRS? Good call. It'll last the rest of your life, assuming you're good to it. I've somehow ended up with a bunch of them but I bought a bunch of them at 'artist price'.

That's cool, brother. I used to have a buddy who owned a music store and I was going to buy one at his cost a couple years ago, but I chose not to and I regret it. His business went under and I lost that opportunity, but this one will do me fine for now and it's just adding a little more to my small collection of instruments. We're doing great and Crazy will open a guitar thread in a little while.

I cheated and sent them links to some videos that included our largest audiences at the time. I also sent them some older stuff and asked if they could give me a discount. They hooked me up with artist price.

It's not that hard to get artist's price. I haven't paid for drum sticks (for example) for decades. I get drum heads for free and enough shirts to throw them out to the audience from back when I was the drummer in a few bands.
