Islam seems to be the dominant religion ever since Pope John Paul the Second visited a mosque for the first time in 2001.

And the Hagia Sofia which is one of the 7 Wonders of the World that was originally built to be a Christian Church back in the 530s AD - has become a Mosque once again in 2020 and according to its history, it has been going back and forth with islam & Christianity for the last 600 years or so.

This Roman Catholic Church got renamed a few years ago and is now more popularly known as the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Although the foundation of the present structure was laid in 1894, the church was solemnly blessed by Archbishop Flood on May 11 1899.
