According to legend, the person who could untie the knot would rule all of Asia. An unsolvable puzzle: the Gordian Knot, an intricate knot that secured an ox-cart to a post.
Many had tried and failed to unravel the knot. As Alexander examined the intricate tangle, he quickly realized that the attempting to untie it would prove fruitless. He drew his sword and cut the knot with one stroke.
At first it appears that a spoiled brat just wrecked his contemporary Rubik's cube. But then you realize that the knot was put there to fuck with you, to waste your time, and the people who put it there just use talking to waste your time while they steal everything in the background. The only solution is to cut the knot, slice through the Gordian Knot and discard its' makers.
