how quickly do you lose your workout results when you stop working out. how much rest days do you need

Quit working for four days now after pushing myself excessively for the past few weeks. trying to see what kind of results I get due to lack of rest and with rest.

Surprisingly, more rest will aid in muscle growth. Three days of rest.

I tore my MCL about three weeks ago. I haven't done anything at all until today.

All I did was bench press and fly machine. I was able to do the weight, but couldn't do the same reps.

And that's with three weeks off. I'm slowly getting better so I will gradually increase the volume.

I use neither
