During survival training I was eating bugs, some plants that I could identify but mostly bugs. Then I caught some squirrels. It was glorious! Meat, oh my goodness yes!

Sounds like a good learning environment. Bugs can be okay in a pinch but tell me does squirrel also taste like chicken?

I found an ant hill. Set up a pot and boiled water. Then I stuck a twig into the ant hill and pulled it up and dipped it in the pot of boiling water. It took a while but eventually I got a soup.

The squirrels were the very definition of gamey. I was hungry and they were delicious.
