Anderson; His four eldest children all came out against him for child abuse/spousal abuse (whipping them with an electrical cord, cold showers in winter; sent to bed without sheets, locked outside in July heat, etc.), then he lied about it continuously and started doing things like doxxing his brother, a Christian also, and from the pulpit, mind you, and saying terrible things like that he 'stole' his daughter (which comes with the punishment of death, Biblically.
It was all very dramatic and needlessly prolonged; but that was his ego and pride taking over.
He has refused to step down, and as far as I am concerned, is anathema.
Sad. I kind of liked his shit. Found the link you posted explaining by the new pastor. I don't like the youtube comments and didn't like some of the stuff the pastor was saying about him teaming up with a calvinist. Maybe it's true.
Either way, he was obviously a troubled man. His father did that to him. Sins of the Fathers.

When I approached him, he treated me like one of his children instead of a child of God.
I felt very betrayed.
I hope he will repent, but I wasn't sticking around to find out if he ever eventually does.
YouTube went to war with him a few years back. A lot of his stuff is pulled off of there, but they are on their site.
To be honest, I think I've grown out of his style of 'outrage' preaching, anyway.
Some of his preaching definitely has solidity. But now that I've had a real taste of who he actually is, I don't find it appealing anymore.
