We serve God because he is our father, because we don't want to get spanked, to honor his Holy name, because he loved us first, because he came and died for us, not because we want to go to heaven and not hell; that was already settled at the cross when the Son of God suffered and died for all of our sins, past present and future, when you believe on Him, whom the Father sent, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Those who would think that people are going to hell because they are outside of your church/ecclesia/iglesia/assembly, then you do not know God.
You may know some of God's words, but you do not know God's grace, you do not know God's forgiveness, you do not know God's mercy.
There was nothing we could do to earn salvation before we believed on Jesus Christ for the redemption of sin, just like there is nothing we can do as a child of God that will stop us from being his children.
Those who would say, "You must turn from your sin." are those who lay heavy burdens on men's shoulders and would not themselves lift a finger to help move them. (Matthew 23:4)
We are not to destroy or break down newborn believers in Christ and to lay burdens upon them. (Acts 15:19-21)
The Word says that Jesus came to save that which was lost, he died for us while we were yet sinners. (Matthew 9:13, Matthew 18:11, Mark 2:17, Luke 5:32, Luke 6:33-34, Luke 19:10, Romans 5:8)
Jesus didn't say, "First clean up your life and get right with the church, then follow me."
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. - John 3:16-17
We are all sinners, and will always sin, even the thought of foolishness is sin; believe on Jesus for your salvation and the Holy Spirit will make known in your heart your sin and God will bring it your attention what he wants you to do
God is a loving Father who will correct you if you are a child of his, else-wise you're a bastard. (Hebrews 12:8)
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. - 1 John 1:8
Jesus spake in the parable of the good shepherd (John 10) that HE is the door of the sheep and that by Him if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Do not let the simplicity of the gospel escape you for the love of tradition or the wisdom of men; these things are the wiles of the devil, that you would be deceived away. (2 Corinthians 11:3, Colossians 2:8)
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. - Matthew 18:4-5
Humble yourself therefore, and He shall lift you up. (James 4:10)
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. - John 12:44-48
Believe with all your heart on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for salvation from sin and death and thou shall be saved indeed.
God bless!
