The bluest skies I ever saw over NY/NJ were the week following 9/11.

It was like that for a little more than a week after 9/11. Pretty surreal. I was on one of the first flights out of PBI, talking like the day they resumed air travel. Packed flight full of very nervous people. Had a return flight five or six days later. There was only four or five other people on the plane other than the crew. That was fuckin wild. Had almost the whole 737 to myself, I'll probably never experience something like that again.

Kinda nice, like Covid and no cars on the road, while I go to my place of business and make money while everyone else is being scared little compliant pussies.
