I am convinced the fate of Australian Prime Minister Harold Edward Holt, who was presumed dead days after he disappeared while swimming at Cheviot Beach near Portsea in Victoria December 17, 1967, which was the subject of an official inquiry and of intensive media coverage, did indeed concern a great number of Australian citizens.
