I have a guest and another couple on the way. It looks like I will not be going to bed early. I've been exceptionally busy, way too busy for someone who is retired.

How about some Chopin? The missus now knows better but she still pronounces his name wrong.

She's not much interested in classical guitar.

She could pick it up. I could teach her more.

Well, let me explain a bit better...

She's interested in the technique. She wants to understand all there is to know about the guitar. But, she has no interest in playing classical guitar.

At this point, it'd be trivial to teach her a piece or two. She'd have a definite advantage if she undertook the studies to play classical guitar. She's reaching the point where I can legitimately call her a 'pretty good' guitar player. I'd say she's about five years ahead of schedule.

Also, I got REALLY drunk. Unfortunately, I can play pool while drunk with some degree of skill. I guess I won a bunch of money last night but I was quite an ass about it. Well, I guess I was 'cocky'.

The missus says I was cocky and arrogant. I usually am not those things unless pressed.

Ah well...

Nah, they didn't mind. I was doing stuff like shooting while looking the other direction, shooting behind my back, shooting with one hand, and running the table so that nobody else got a turn. I was doing masse shots that most folks can't even dream of making. I was having an 'on' night.

I used to say the missus would be good in a decade. She's good now. She'll be pretty damned good in a decade.

it bums me out that all that work cof put into doing this seems to have been all for naught

these songs are more important to me and more personal than anything mainstream the last 20 years has put out. i dont really think anything these last 10 or 20 years has really caught your ear either, you havent really mentioned anything to me if it has.

but me, myself, I use this site for music when I want to listen and not play, seriously, Its my first choice, has been for a long time. but its half or three quarters unavailable

We lost a lot when instaudio went down. COF saved everything he could and made archives of it. Though I think he only saved my work and some other songs along the way.

Hello everybody. My buddy Chris came over on Monday evening, and as he got here another friend of mine called and was wanting some company to have a couple beers with him, as his daughter blew her engine in her car and took his, so he was stranded. So Chris and I brought our guitars over to his house. It was a scene, man, a crazy scene.

Here we are playing an original of our very own, Coffee. I especially enjoyed the part between 6:40 and 7:11 where I did a bitching solo over whatever Chris was playing LoL, but its all great, its all entertaining. The part where I try to put my buddy in the oven for being a jew, man. He dies. LoL
