at the homeless shelter i saw the most reprehensible food. The kids had a choice eat this swill or have a pb and j sandwich. I saw kids opt for the pb and j everynight. and when it ran out they were served the whatever the fuck was on that plate and they just looked at it. NO sympathy for these illegal brats.

The foreigners hahaha they were in 1 day and onto lodging in one night.

we were... homeless. Motels were/are insanely expensive if you dont have one of those magical vouchers. I was wasting almost a grand a week doing it that way. Not even counting food. Maybe there were cheaper ways to do it but no one gives courses on how to be homeless. Well not back a few years ago that I knew of. Now theres a plethora of videos on the subject but still only ones that show how to be homeless by yourself without kids. Theres a market out there for those types of videos im sure.

Because, well, I too was homeless for two years, maybe longer, don’t remember. I was strung out on crank on the streets of Sacramento back in the early nineties, when the dope was good, before the shitty crystal meth they have now.
I put me there and I got me out of there.

Thank you for you condolences, but I learned a lot in those 2-3-4 years, whatever it was,and I’m a fucking rock star because of it. When I cleaned up I got a government assistance check one time. It was for $280 or some shit. Six months
S later after gainfull employment I got a bill for that welfare check and I paid it back. Bet you never heard of anything like that.

Simply applied for General Assitance. It’s a short term think. Most losers never pay it back. I did, in full, making $6 an hour.

Let me add that when I cleaned up I had plenty of options for places to stay. Some friends took me in and gave me a room which I used that one check to pay for. After that I worked and paid them for a few more months. Then I got an apartment of my own. I didn’t burn all my bridges. Didn’t burn any for that matter.
Just how does one end up in a shelter? I mean, you got nobody you will deal with you or help you?
